Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), 68-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sigourney upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Savages host Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA) to play the Tigers in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Iowa Valley won 55-28 in their recent league bout against Tri-County (Thornburg, IA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Monday, January 29. Tri-County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 63-41 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA).
