San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), 43-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, San Dieguito Academy upgrades its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Mavericks in a bout on Saturday, February 3. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 8-6. La Costa Canyon lost 60-50 in their recent league bout against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, February 3. Sage Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 20-2 record after their 58-42 league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA).
