North Carolina High School Basketball - A.C. Reynolds tops Myers Park

January 27, 2024: Asheville, NC 28803

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) and the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC), saw A.C. Reynolds's basketball squad knock off Myers Park by a count of 60-48.

With the victory, A.C. Reynolds upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Enka (Enka, NC) to play the Jets in a 3A/4A Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Enka lost 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Erwin (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A South Meck challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Myers Park will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 56-31 league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC).
