The Academy of the Holy Angels Angels basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Pascack Valley Panthers to 41 in the Angels non-league victory on Saturday.
The Angels now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paramus for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Academy of the Holy Angels will battle a Spartans team coming off a 50-34 non-league loss to Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 3-13.
The Panthers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Highwaymen come into the Big North - National contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Teaneck prevailed over Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
