The Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels (Tucson, AZ), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Roadrunners (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Centurions enter the 1A East contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Cicero Prep Academy was nudged by Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ), 47-10, in a league contest.

The Sentinels (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ). The Lobos enter the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Patagonia nudged Superior (Superior, AZ), 47-18, in a non-league contest.
