The Beatrice Orangemen basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Malcolm Clippers to 35 in the Orangemen non-league victory on Saturday.

The Orangemen now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norris for a B District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Beatrice will battle a Titans team coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Titans record now stands at 12-2.

The Clippers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wahoo (Wahoo, NE). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Wahoo was defeated by Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE), 41-32, in a non-league contest.
