Booneville Blue Devils (Booneville, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS), 63-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Booneville upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to New Hope (Columbus, MS) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 13-7. New Hope won 42-30 in their recent league bout against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS)

Next up, the Aggies play the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Kossuth will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Belmont (Belmont, MS).
