In Saturday's league outing, the Brentwood Academy Eagles (Brentwood, TN) basketball squad felled the visiting Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN), by a margin of 36-26.

The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Lions go into the Division II-AA Middle outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Christ Presbyterian Academy was beaten by Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN), 44-31, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Lipscomb Academy for a Division II-AA Middle outing on Monday, January 29. Pope John Paul II will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 72-37 league win over St. Cecilia Academy (Nashville, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-7.
