The Freeport Falcons basketball team (Freeport, ME), was routed 57-32 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME)
The Dragons now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fryeburg for a A South battle on Tuesday, January 30. Brunswick will battle a Raiders team coming off a 52-51 league loss to Westbrook (Westbrook, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 8-7.
The Falcons (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Patriots come into the A South battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Gray-New Gloucester trounced Deering (Portland, ME), 44-39, in a league battle.
