Calvin Christian Squires (Grandville, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Godwin Heights Wolverines (Wyoming, MI), 58-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Calvin Christian upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Squires travel to Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Grand Haven won 54-35 in their recent league bout against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Godwin Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 40-36 non-league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton, MI).
