The Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) basketball knocked off the host Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA), 42-29 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wahawks (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks go into the Mississippi Valley test with a 6-17 record. In their last test, Iowa City went down by Valley (West Des Moines, IA), 61-32, in a non-league test.

The Regents now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Nashua-Plainfield for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Waterloo Christian will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-13.
