The Coldwater Cavaliers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Spencerville Bearcats to 41 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van Wert for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Coldwater will meet a Cougars team coming off a 59-26 league loss to Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 4-13.

The Bearcats (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kalida (Kalida, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Kalida nudged Miller City (Miller City, OH), 51-38, in a league contest.
