New London Wildcats (New London, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH), 61-18 in a league bout.

With the win, New London upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Wellington (Wellington, OH) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Wellington won 39-37 in their recent league bout against Firelands (Oberlin, OH)

Next up, the Cougars play the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a Firelands bout, on Thursday, February 1. Crestview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 54-24 non-league loss to Edison (Milan, OH).
