The Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) basketball nipped the host York Dukes (York, NE), 38-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Schuyler (Schuyler, NE). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Schuyler was tipped by Lexington (Lexington, NE), 44-41, in a non-league test.
The Dukes now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Elkhorn North for a non-league test on Friday, February 2.
