In Saturday's league outing, the Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA), by a count of 78-17.

The Pirates (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Wildcats go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Eastmont smashed Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA), 78-43, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 2-16 record. They play next when they host West Valley for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Wenatchee will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 67-38 league win over Eisenhower (Yakima, WA). The Rams record now stands at 13-4.
