In Saturday's league outing, the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) basketball squad beat the host Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME), by a count of 59-47.
The Rams (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Scots go into the AA South outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Bonny Eagle was topped by Biddeford (Biddeford, ME), 48-23, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Thornton Academy for a AA South outing on Tuesday, January 30. Sanford will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 50-41 league loss to South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 7-6.
