The Greene County Rams basketball team (Jefferson, IA), was overwhelmed 58-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA)

The Cougars now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Bend-Mallard for a Twin Lakes battle on Tuesday, January 30. Northwest Webster will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 32-30 non-league win over Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-7.

The Rams (0-15) will now prepare for their battle against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the Heart of Iowa outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Prairie City-Monroe smashed Perry (Perry, IA), 48-21, in a league outing.
