The West Jones Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Jim Hill Tigers to 38 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hill for a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 30. West Jones will battle a Patriots team coming off a 65-63 league win over Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 12-13.

Next up, the Tigers play the Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) in a 6A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Jim Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 18-6 record after their 51-46 league loss to Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS).
