The South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN) basketball crushed the host Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN), 68-44 in Saturday's league test.
The Rebels (15-8) will now prepare for their test against University (Johnson City, TN). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 1-12 record.
The Longhorns now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Unaka for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Johnson County will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 52-23 league loss to Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN). The Rangers record now stands at 4-15.
