The La Center Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Stevenson Bulldogs to 40 in the Wildcats league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a 1A Trico contest on Wednesday, January 31. La Center will battle a Bruins team coming off a 31-18 league loss to King's Way Christian (Vancouver, WA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-12.

The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA). The Cougars come into the 1A Trico contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Seton Catholic edged Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA), 57-37, in a league contest.
