Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mountain View Buffalos (Mountain View, WY), 51-43 in a league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 2. Lyman will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 3-10 record after their 50-26 league loss to Lovell (Lovell, WY).

With the defeat, Mountain View moves to 11-2 on the year. The Buffalos travel to Lander Valley (Lander, WY) to face the Tigers in a 3A Southwest game on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 6-6. Lander Valley lost 68-46 in their recent league game against Pinedale (Pinedale, WY)
