Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 58-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Rio Grande upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Ravens travel to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A District 5 bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Albuquerque won 46-25 in their recent league bout against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Manzano will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 44-36 league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
