Nevada High School Basketball - McDermitt tops Wells

January 27, 2024: Wells, NV 89835

McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), 50-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, McDermitt upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Carlin (Carlin, NV) to play the Railroaders in a 1A East bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Railroaders come into the bout with a record of 3-14. Carlin lost 27-22 in their recent league bout against Lund (Lund, NV)

Next up, the Leopards play the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a 1A East bout, on Friday, February 2. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record.
