In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), by a margin of 46-43.

The Spartans (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Blue Bullets go into the Lincoln Trail outing with a 7-13 record. In their last outing, Knoxville got by ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL), 52-33, in a league outing.

The Chargers now own a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to Morrison for a Three Rivers - West outing on Monday, January 29. Orion will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 58-45 non-league loss to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-11.
