The Upper Perkiomen Indians basketball team (Pennsburg, PA), was overwhelmed 50-25 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Phoenixville Phantoms (Phoenixville, PA)

The Phantoms now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pottstown for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, January 30. Phoenixville will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-24 league loss to Methacton (Norristown, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-13.

The Indians (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Boyertown (Boyertown, PA). The Bears come into the Pioneer battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Boyertown was overwhelmed by Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA), 46-22, in a non-league battle.
