The Wausa Vikings basketball team (Wausa, NE), was overwhelmed 49-28 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE)

The Pirates now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wakefield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 30. Plainview will confront a Trojans team coming off a 68-52 league loss to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 8-8.

The Vikings (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Winside (Winside, NE). The Wildcats come into the D2 District 6 battle with a 1-14 record.
