The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Presentation Panthers to 24 in the Fightin' Irish league triumph on Saturday.

The Fightin' Irish now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a West Catholic contest on Tuesday, January 30. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 60-40 league win over Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-6.

The Panthers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors enter the West Catholic contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Valley Christian was routed by St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 60-40, in a league contest.
