The Salem Academy Crusaders basketball team (Salem, OR), was nudged 54-47 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Regis Rams (Stayton, OR)
The Rams now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Christian for a 2A Tri-River battle on Tuesday, January 30.
The Crusaders (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Wolverines come into the 2A Tri-River battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Santiam edged Delphian (Sheridan, OR), 49-10, in a league battle.
