Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) and the visiting Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH), saw West Jefferson's basketball squad overcome Triad by a tally of 33-21.

With the victory, West Jefferson improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Urbana (Urbana, OH) to play the Hillclimbers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Hillclimbers come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Urbana lost 50-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Triad will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 58-41 league win over Cedarville (Cedarville, OH).
