Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX), 40-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Aztecs in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 1-15.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Eastlake will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record.
