California High School Basketball - Archbishop Mitty can't hold off Serra

The Serra Padres basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs to 43 in the Padres league triumph on Saturday.
The Padres now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Riordan for a contest on Tuesday, January 30. Serra will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 50-33 league win over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 16-3.
The Monarchs (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Lancers enter the contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Saint Francis was nudged by Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA), 50-33, in a league contest.
