The Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL) basketball knocked off the host Morgan Academy Senators (Selma, AL), 46-28 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rebels (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Macon-East Montgomery Academy notched a victory over Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL), 47-25, in a league test.

The Senators now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Bessemer Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Morgan Academy will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 59-30 non-league win over JV Opponent (, ). The Rebels record now stands at 17-2.
