Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 52-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to play the Terriers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 8-10. William Byrd won 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lord Botetourt will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Terriers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
