The Sycamore Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Morris Redskins to 58 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marian Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Sycamore will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 72-19 non-league loss to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-3.
The Redskins (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record.
