The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) and the visiting Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA), observed Alisal's basketball team knock off Palma by a score of 74-61.

The Trojans (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA). The Breakers come into the PCAL - Gabilan challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Pacific Grove dropped by Monterey (Monterey, CA), 66-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chieftains encounter the Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Palma will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Padres come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 79-63 league win over Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA).
