The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Alleluia Community Angels (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA), observed Alleluia Community's basketball team knock off Peachtree Academy by a score of 89-72.

The Angels (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Briarwood Academy was knocked off by Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA), 68-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Peachtree Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 82-55 league loss to Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA).
