In Monday's league contest, the host Catalina Trojans basketball team scored a big 55-25 triumph over the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks.

The Trojans (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats go into the 3A South contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Sabino smashed Safford (Safford, AZ), 100-68, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A South contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Andrada Polytechnic will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 65-52 league win over Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ).
