The St. Charles Catholic Comets basketball squad (LaPlace, LA), was outscored 70-52 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA)
With the victory, Archbishop Shaw advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA) to meet the Cardinals in a 4A District 9 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 10-11.
The Comets now own a 15-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonnabel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. St. Charles Catholic will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 67-57 non-league win over Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 18-11.
