The Bay Yellowjackets basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Marked Tree Indians to 58 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Cross County for a 2A Region 3 game on Friday, January 31. Bay will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 52-45 league win over Piggott (Piggott, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Marked Tree falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR) to confront the Falcons in a 1A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 17-5.
