The Sturgis Trojans basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Central Bearcats to 30 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Plainwell for a Wolverine B game on Friday, January 31. Sturgis will confront a Trojans team coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Central falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to confront the Knights in a Southwestern Michigan - East game on Friday, January 31. The Knights go into the game with a record of 6-6. Norrix lost 76-69 in their recent league game against Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI)
