The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) and the host Mintz Christian Academy Lions (Roseboro, NC), observed Christ the Cornerstone Academy's basketball team overwhelm Mintz Christian Academy by a score of 75-33.
The Defenders (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Knights come into the Carolinas Christian challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Liberty Christian Academy was routed by Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 60-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions (Whispering Pines, NC) in a Carolinas Christian challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Mintz Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record.
