The Clarion Area Bobcats basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks to 37 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bobcats now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Clarion-Limestone for a Keystone Shortway game on Wednesday, January 29. Clarion Area will confront a Lions team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Cameron County (Emporium, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Punxsutawney falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Chucks host Bradford (Bradford, PA) to confront the Owls in a District 9 game on Friday, January 31. The Owls go into the game with a record of 4-11. Bradford lost 54-44 in their recent league game against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA)
