The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) and the host Coudersport Falcons (Coudersport, PA), observed Oswayo Valley's basketball team overwhelm Coudersport by a margin of 54-25.

The Green Wave (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Allegany (Port Allegany, PA). The Gators come into the North Tier challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Port Allegany trounced Northern Potter (Ulysses, PA), 50-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Cameron County Raiders (Emporium, PA) in a North Tier challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Coudersport will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 63-18 league win over Smethport (Smethport, PA).
