Georgia High School Basketball - Wilcox County overwhelmed by Crisp County

January 27, 2025: Cordele, GA 31015

In Monday's non-league test, the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA), by a score of 71-36.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a AA Region 3 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Crisp County will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 4-15 record after their 64-63 league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA).

The Patriots (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Bulldogs come into the A D2 Region 4 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Wheeler County bounced Telfair County (McRae, GA), 74-54, in a league test.
