The Dayton Pirates defeated the visiting Sheridan Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 57-48 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR) in a 3A PacWest outing, on Wednesday, January 29. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 7-10 record after their 66-59 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, OR).
The Spartans (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Taft (Lincoln City, OR). The Tigers come into the 3A PacWest outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Taft overcame Scio (Scio, OR), 70-56, in a league outing.
