The Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA), 58-48 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Green Waves now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they host James Monroe for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. Narrows will play a Mavericks team coming off a 53-38 league loss to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-2.
