The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) and the host Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), observed Oak Ridge's basketball team overcome Granite Bay by a score of 72-52.

The Trojans (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder come into the Sierra Foothill League challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Rocklin defeated Folsom (Folsom, CA), 62-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Granite Bay will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 77-52 league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA).
