The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) and the visiting Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR), observed Santiam's basketball team overwhelm Kennedy by a score of 64-43.

The Wolverines (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem Academy (Salem, OR). The Crusaders come into the 2A Tri-River challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Salem Academy was routed by Regis (Stayton, OR), 83-44, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Trojans meet the Chemawa Indian Braves (Salem, OR) in a 2A Tri-River battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Kennedy will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 0-13 record after their 85-65 league loss to Delphian (Sheridan, OR).
