With the victory, Klawock advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Chieftains host Skagway (Skagway, AK) to meet the Panthers in a 1A Southeast battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 4-3.

The Wolverines now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kake for a 1A Southeast battle on Friday, January 31. Thorne Bay will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 57-36 league win over Skagway (Skagway, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-0.
