Virginia High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelms Manassas Park

The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 92 points and limited the host Manassas Park Cougars to 17 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.
The Mustangs now have a 14-0 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Northwestern game on Tuesday, January 28. Meridian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 53-49 league win over Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Manassas Park falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Cougars host James Wood (Winchester, VA) to confront the Colonels in a Northwestern game on Tuesday, January 28. The Colonels go into the game with a record of 6-7. James Wood lost 47-45 in their recent league game against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA)
